A well-balanced life brings about higher levels of resilience and happiness. Resilience is the process of adapting well and remaining proactive in the face of ongoing change and innovation. It speaks of our ability to "bounce back" from challenging experiences and changes.
Research has shown that most to all people demonstrate resilience at some level and that people with a balanced lifestyle are generally more resilient than those who don't. Balance may feel intangible but it brings about feelings of insecurity, being lost, or out-of-control. Taking a "helicopter view" and doing a balance check helps us understand what steps can be taken to restore and increase our levels of resilience.

At the end of this quiz, a graph will present a 12-factor balance map as well as some indication of confidence. This balance-map is a great conversation starter for any coaching intervention.
